Hi, 

My name is Marcus Page, and as you’ve probably guessed, I’m the author of these books. Let me start by telling you a little about myself. I’ve been a teacher for around 17 years, during which time I’ve had the privilege of working in over 100 schools in a variety of classroom and leadership positions. Teaching has always been my passion, and I find great joy in watching children grow, learn, and discover their true potential. 

Throughout my teaching career, I have taken a particular interest in supporting students who find reading and writing challenging. Much of my work has been dedicated to helping students build confidence and develop the necessary skills they need to thrive in the classroom.

When I was younger, I was a reluctant writer and always avoided reading. I dreaded picking up a book or putting pen to paper. I would resist to the point of tears every time I had to do homework. With this in mind, I hope the books and writing activities inspire students to discover the joy of reading and writing and empower them to excel in the classroom.
